The nominations were decided by all 11 of the Game Rant staff in attendance for E3 and are based upon our previews, demos and hands-on experiences with all of the available titles at the event this y

Winter's still going on strong - for most of us, anyway - but the gaming release lull is slowly coming to an end! While most February releases are still geared towards the previous generation, there are a few next-gen games that should start the ball rolling for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Let's take a look at what February has to of

To get a full sense of just how much time has passed without any update, we have to go all the way back to E3 2011, where the studio's Jurassic Park adaptation was on display. While dinosaurs were the main attraction, the developer did adorn their booth with a poster for their upcoming King's Quest reboot , although they weren't speaking on specifics (since that project doesn't seem to be progressing, we no know w

Unless Telltale Games is preparing to announce and adaptation of Allen Ginsberg's life, we'd bet that an update on Fables is imminent. The only question remains: just how much progress has the studio made, and how big an influence will The Walking Dead 's success have? The developers are certainly not the type to twist other games to capitalize on another's success, but there's no reason the art style or advertising couldn't be tied into their most successful game e

When Telltale Games announced that they would be bringing Fables , an adaptation of the Vertigo graphic novel series to gamers everywhere, it was hard to know what to expect. That was before The Walking Dead made the studio one of the most impressive in the realm of video game writing , not to mention undisputed masters of episodic relea

Leading up to E3, the Game Rant team put together a pair of lists of our most anticipated confirmed games E3 2011 and our most anticipated rumored games . Several of the rumored games did end up being showcased at the annual Los Angeles event, but were our hopes and anticipation justif

It looks like there's a lot more to look forward to this month, with more releases on the PS4 and Xbox One. Although it won't be until March that the next-gen titles start pouring in, February should have many releases to keep gamers occupied. Ranters, what are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments section below! As for me, I'll be counting the days until Thief releases on St

Overall, the PC version does deliver some aesthetically pleasing differences from the Xbox 360 - most notably the graphics improvements, but it's still the same game. Even though it looks prettier, the same flaws remain. If you have a great PC, and you haven't already purchased Fable 3 , pick it up. The RPG elements may be minimal, and simplistic, but the game still manages to be an engrossing experience - because of all the things you can do in (and to) the wo

On top of new details for these previously announced games, we'll also get our first glimpse of 38 Studios' Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning . Todd McFarlane is acting as executive art director on the game. Now, when I heard about this game, I was actually quite excited. It remains to be seen though, how a company started by a Major League Baseball player, Curt Schilling, will fare when compared to companies such as Microsoft and Blizzard. Personally, I'm wondering how much experience someone from the MLB would have running a gaming company. We'll just have to see what happens when it comes time for the pa

Yet despite that success, there have still been no substantial announcements on what the studio has planned for Bill Willingham's comic series. If a cryptic tweet from Telltale's Twitter account is any indication, that may be about to cha

PC users are also given all the add-ons included with the Limited Collector's Edition of the console title - which amounts to a new area, a quest with a new sword, outfit, and the boxer dog breed. For those that have pre-purchased from Steam, there will be 5 exclusive tattoo sets as well as 4 legendary weapons made available to your H

Opening up the month is the anticipated Fable Anniversary , a re-imagining of the hit RPG originally released on the Xbox nearly ten years ago. It arrives February 4th for the Xbox 360. On the 5th, internet "let's play" sensation Outlast will be available on the PS4. Later in the month, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII makes its way to the PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 11th. Rayman Legends jumps into the next-gen fray on the 18th, giving some much-needed platformer action to the PS4 and Xbox One. The Wii U gets its own taste of more platformer goodness on the 21st, when Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze swings into action. Finally, the long-awaited Thief reboot finds its way to all major platforms after nearly a decade of abse

Fable: The Journey is expected to be released this year, so it's certainly possible that Molyneux's work on the game is mostly complete - as the title, presumably, is in the hands of department designers and no longer requires larger visioning or shaping. That said, it's much more likely that development on the inevitable (yet unannounced) Fable 4 will take the biggest hit (not to mention the recently announced fable quests|https://Fablelegendary.com/: Heroes ) - given how involved Molyneux has been with the previous full-scale Fable adventu
