Originally revealed at Paris Games Week 2017 , Ghost of Tsushima looked to be a dramatic, samurai epic with some sort of supernatural flair, as the trailer showed what appeared to be the game's protagonist seemingly disintegrating into smoke. The game wouldn't be shown off again until E3 2018, where an extended gameplay trailer gave a look at Ghost of Tsushima's impressive visuals and methodical combat. The full trailer will be shown at The Game Awards on December 12 at 8:30 p.m. EST, but the State of Play clip gives viewers a glimpse at what the new trailer could reveal. It begins with a group of armored Mongolian soldiers, wheeling a heavy cart through a yellow forest on the island of Tsushima, Japan.
